Gary Massey Featured in USA Today as One of the Nation’s Leading Attorneys
Gary Massey of the Tennessee personal injury law firm of Massey & Associates, P.C. has been featured in USA Today as one of the Nation’s Leading Attorneys in the Legal Elite section of the publication. Chattanooga accident attorney Mr. Massey was asked to provide his top tips, as a public service, to help consumers and businesses alike be more aware and protect their best interests when harmed by another’s negligence. Mr. Massey shared with readers of USA Today that it is much easier to ruin an injury case than most individuals realize. He recommends that injury accident victims take photos, keep detailed records, and inform their doctors about every part of their body that hurts, even if the pain is minor. Mr. Massey advises that a lot of people who believe that they are just sore end up needing to have surgery or coping with a body part that is permanently injured. Tying all of these points into how a person can best protect their legal rights when going to trial, Mr. Massey states, "If your memory doesn’t match your medical records, the jury thinks you’re lying." Mr. Massey goes on to say that a person can obtain complete monetary compensation as long as they are clear and honest from the onset.
